parades
Heard this really powerful illustration about one's dreams and vision and i've decided to blog about it. Also decided to do so much more things!
Anyway, this illustrations requires you to use your imaginations, so imagine with me this... Think of a parade. Really huge and loud, funky and cool ones, something like chingay? but cooler though. That's something like God's plans and purpose for our lives. Its BIG, LOUD, Beautiful and fantastic. But the way we get to perceive this parade is kind of limited. We only can see it through a PINHOLE. so you get feel the atmosphere, hear the cheers and shouts of the crowd and feel the adrenaline pumping through your veins but what you can see is only limited through the small little pinhole. You only can see what is happening directly in front of you and you cant choose what you can see. Only seeing whatever that is allowed to passed through your limited sight of view. In some ways this is how God's vision and dream unfold in our lives. We don't know it all, we don't see it all and sometimes we don't feel it all but you must know He decides whatever that is good for you to see at your stage of life. God's progression, His pace for the parade to pass before your eyes is seemingly timeless and prefect. You will feel and hear it coming but will only see it when its the right time. A time determined by Him and Him alone.
It will get frustrating to be only able to see whatever that the pinhole allows. And sadly people do leave and give up on this sight. But lets not! Hold on people cause you will see the ultimate goal :)
On a lighter note. I need to go gym tomorrow! And i'm meeting Charleston tomorrow! So exciting! I want to know, how can i become a ZM.

Happy day
Hello world.
Things has really been a roller coaster ride.
My best friend has been making me go crazy with his parables and brain cell
(PS wei jie you know im talking about you!)
But anyway this are really looking up. The CGs are really happening now. I really cant wait to see what God has installed for all of us. Ester was fantastic! So many people came and i think that will be the norm for our church next time.
There will come a place in time, where packing Singpost like how we did on Friday night is going to be normal. Its really awesome to be so stressed by the lack of seats! I can still vividly remember how the situation is like at the sound console where all the ushers were busy setting up more chairs while the endless q of people waiting to be seated. Its a GOOD PROBLEM :)
Ester was great! Announce to the world my new friends! Ernest and Benjamin! Really nice to know them. I mean Ernest is really an amazing guy! He came on friday and Sat also. I cant help seeing a shade of myself in him! Cool guy! Your future is going to be amazing! Keep walking in God. Benjamin is such a cool guy! we need to go play pool again.
Sunday was even more fantastic!
We went to the zoo! you know what after so long of absence from that place, you really want to go revisit it. I use to have this dream that when i have my family, i will bring them to places of interests and spend the morning there. Really cool. :) but of cause we must go church! :)
Anyway back to the zoo, its really good. I saw some many cute animals. The baboons are the best! There were so many of them and they were all helping each other with their grooming. Super cute, shall post some pictures in the future. its really good.
After that i was in a coma... slept and slept.
I shall blog tonight with more interesting news... :)

update!
Yes back to update my blog at this wee hours of the morning, just somehow couldnt get myself to sleep. Maybe it is because of the disturbing movie earlier that i've watch. The c20 army guys coupled with hong hwee and some random people like zach and ruoen went to watch this thriller cum scary (at least to me) movie called knowing. shall not going into the details.
Anyway, life is good. Im getting use to my work in the army and things are happening in the cg. Well not all smooth sailing but how can there be growth without problems. Im on a crusade right now to read as many book and listen to as many sermon as i can. i want to be a man of God's words. I've dream about being a preacher of God's word. Not an easy job. But i figure i would love to be able to serve Jesus in that way. BUT i want to serve a calling that is not perceived through my eyes but through Jesus'. A walk of faith men...
I want to talk about this really cool guy called Qi Lin! Hey if you are reading this is for you! haha. I'm really happy that he received Jesus into his life. why? because i see myself in him. haha... well maybe shadows of me and my past. So im glad he found Jesus cause there is a greater destiny awaiting him.
(So many things to say...)
Today's sermon was really kind refreshing. A sermon regarding this topic of marriage... haha. juice news time! haha... no but seriously, its really a beautiful thing to be married. well, i'm not ashamed to say out loud that i want to get married. haha.. but its really such a big thing in life that you, me or rather we all cannot afford to mess up. can you imagine going together for the rest of your life being struck??? i dont want that! There nothing much i can say as to whom i will marry but at least today i've really learn that marriage has so much entailing it.
what i mean? things like this...
- Praying for your spouses!
Wow! that's something i never really thought about. We can call forth the things that are unseen as though they did. how cool is that? you can actually pray that Holy Spirit will help grow your spouse to be. To be stronger in His word.. to love God as much as you.. to love the church... to love Pastors and our leaders... to be an others person... so many things.
- taking care of yourselves!
You got to live life that commands respect and continue to be loveable! i need to be less crappy... haha. i need to live a life that commands respect. carry myself properly. Being loveable! i need to work on myself more! character... appearance...attitude... so much things to do! That reminds me that i need to start exercising and shed those extra pounds.
So interesting! Well honestly i cant wait for the day where people in our church get married. i really want to see who is going to end up with who! haha.
what an interesting day.
I better be sleeping now. i want to wake up earlier to run! :)

I am feeling so Nicholas tonight :D

anyway im really loving this song - Elgar/ Something Inside.
Its off the soundtrack of August Rush.
Its beautiful because its a mix of classical music and pop. How cool is that!
That's how i perceive life to be - a fluid mix.
How true it can be? a fluid mix.
Always miscible and always progressing yet so easily misguided. Its like a "slippy snake", ever played those toys before? The one where you can grab it but when you grab it, it will slip away. And whats funny is that they always come with as a smile snake! hahaha...
Back to the topic, it always seems like when you think you know it all but you are only a few steps into the great big, deep blue abyss. Paddling yourself into uncharted water. Alright, don't be emo now! Look at it this way, walking into ambiguity and vagueness does carry with it a strong sense of dependency and reliance on the One from Above. Right? Ambivalence, equivocation or faith? You decide.
Cannot help but be thoughtful about what the future entails. That big ambiguity that is so allusive. Ahhh.. grab it grab it.
"God i might not know it all! But what i know is i will keep walking on."
Had a causal hang out with Charleston and it left me deep in thoughts. Thats why you got to draw near! haha. Thoughts about what? hold your horses, let me elaborate...
Boss shared with us about how he is REALLY going full-time and REALLY building the church. Not that it wasn't real before but now it seems like our dreams are passing onto reality. Real tangible reality. The fact that what you do or rather you don't do will carry on with consequences that will bring repercussions that is so much bigger than ourselves. Its for real now. God, Church, Lives and Others. TANGIBLE FACTS!
It made me think about my own life. Well, i want to serve in church full-time. As a pastor? as a zone leader? i don't know as for sure but one thing that is for sure, is that i will die trying! No more excuse, no more easy way out. Time to shoulder the responsibility of our church and zone and cg. I'm wiping away the webs and padding the dust off my shoulders. Now its for Real God. Its for real...
Alright, on a lighter note! muhahahaha
Life is good! Though problems exist but they are never too big.
Sometime we just need to learn how to love the Problems in our lives :D Right?
So i'm buzzing my way through my work in camp, plowing the ground with God. But the story doesn't just end there. I found a couple of good friends that we can speak parables to! So devious and sneaky huh? hahahaha... Indeed it doesn't take a bullet to start a war, words do just fine! whahaha...
Also i'm starting to be madly in love with DOGS! Yes DOGs... haha.
I cannot wait to get my hands on one...
Also as promised i want to blog about people that offended me! haha..

anyway today im posted out! Ahhhaahaha... Finally i cn bid good bye to this place for at least a year. Tekong has taught me lots. Honestly, i do feel for this place. The friendship, the brotherhood in the face of all de tekan, the rush of blood to head, the buildin of muscles... Mixed emotions! Tonight is the last night i will ever be in this place. Yankee has managed to put something in me. I set out on this journey tryin to learn all tat i shld or cn learn from them. Learn i did. Good bye guys! U guys will be great commanders in the future! Good bye rocky hill. Good bye Yankeeeee! I will miss u all :)

Long distance relations
Haha... Its quite funny! Im in bunk now n the lights are out. But my bunk mate is still on de phone, jus like me. Haha... But he is pretty cool, he is from HONG KONG n so he speaks the Queen's english. I guess he miss be talking to his girlfriend overseas because he is very secretive about his conversation. I bet the other guys are listening too! Wahaha... Quite mushy. CHUI AR...
anyway today my OOT friend got posted out. The second guy in my coy to get posted out. He is posted out as a technican... Tats quite bad... I want to be a clerk... Pls pray for me! 8 to 5, clerk, that cn book out! Im pretty anxious about it nw...

Im quite worn out today... Had to go to the field camp site to help out. Its quite though cause had to load n unload stuff.. My back is really hurtin now.
Ahhh... Im missin pastoral meetin today. NO.... NO... NO.... I wonder wad happened. Will go ask the rest. Men, dyin to get back into action.

Army has been boring, summarize it into a word - nothing!
interesting thing, my little little revelation. Do u knw? Jesus loves you! :)
No matter hw insignificant u might think u are, hey noe this!
God, send his only Son to give His life for u. So smile, He loves u!
'whats profitable for a grain unless it falls dead on de ground as through it will spring forward many more grains.'
from His only Son, now Jesus becomes de first Son. So tat many more cn be the second, third, 4th, 5th... Children of Him. Jus like a grain it needs to be dead in order to bring forth de germination of de seeds n than de plant n than many more seeds tat will carry the same dna. :)
hmm... I miss church, Pst, friends n Jesus!
A man needs 3 meals a day n 7 to 8 glasses of water per day. The word of God is de bread n His presence is our river of life. Have u eaten n drink?

im listening to Pst Phill's sermon
Jesus was from an insignificant town. A small town with folks tats have little to do with the world n all it has.
All settled down in de basins n nt the hill areas. Despite de great view.
BUT GOD doesnt care abt tat, nothing is too insignificant for God. Jesus came through this town, He will send u an angel.
We are created by Him. N when He created us there was a smile on his face.
Jesus didnt clinch onto His rights bt to His responsiblities. He is our creator bt knew that He needs to keep us by showin us de way of redemption.
Do u knw why mary was favoured??
Bcoz she has a yes attitude.
when God comes to us in our lives with His plans bt there is always a challenge.
Need to do it like mary.
'alright God lets do it!'
when we recieve Christ all things become new

Hey hey
What a day. Today and yesterday was totally slack. Out of a sudden things seemed to be just getting abit too easy. We watched movies n tv n tv dramas. Thats what we did for the whole of yesterday n today. Finally i got to watch gossip girl! Whahaha... Can u believe it? I cant too. We watch half of season one but the other half is missing... So until than, we will only survive with the ending half of the story.
what is more? I finally got to spend alone time with Jesus. Im starting to fall in love with watchmen nee's book. Cannot really write down all de relevations. Bt i promise once ive get my hands on my mac.
